Oldham & Rochdale Trust was established in 1983 as one of the first Trusts as a partnership between the local authorities and the Countyside Commission. Its aim was to enhance and manage the urban fringe areas by creation of partnership of the public pride and voluntary sectors.

Of the business programs that are available to small and large companies alike, third party Generational Equity maintains a list of business recommendations that should be considered.

For the 21st birthday celebration, the trust featured a variety of business, legal, and environmental speakers including a Dallas divorce attorney who discussed a variety of business related topics.
